WIN WIN (2011)
It's cold this time of year, so what better way to warm yourself up than with this indie US comedy about a struggling lawyer and volunteer wrestling coach's chicanery that comes back to haunt him when the teenage grandson of the client he's double-crossed comes into his life.
Directed by Thomas McCarthy whose debut film 'Station Agent' was a hit on the indie circuit on it's release, and starring Paul Giametti (American Splendour, Sideways) it's been described by Rolling Stone as a "gem, hilarious and heartfelt with a tough core that repels all things sappy", whilst Phillip French in The Observer called it "a deft, warm, serious and often very funny film.
The film is free if you are a Film Club member (£35/year for 12+ films, plus you get free use of our DVD library!) Non-members can pay for entry to the film (£7 / £5 Conc).
